Erell Manufacturing is led by third generation president Randall S. Silton, and remains a Midwestern US manufacturer of vinyl promotional products and meeting supplies. Providing quality products and developing partnerships with our customers remains the cornerstone of Erell Manufacturing Company, as it has for over 70 years. As a U.S. based manufacturer and imprinter, Erell began its story in 1947. On February 26th of that year, Erich E. Klein opened a store front location on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago manufacturing vinyl shower curtains and industrial aprons. As word of his quality products spread, Erich found his passion in creating custom vinyl products for his customers. Erell Manufacturing became one of the first known domestic manufacturers of the now infamous Pocket Protector - a product that we still manufacture today, which in turn directly led Mr. Klein into the promotional products marketplace. Very active in the then specialty advertising industry, Erich was a former director of the Specialty Advertising Guild International and at the time of his death in 1967 was a director of the Specialty Advertising Club of Chicago. His daughter, Hannah L. Silton took over as President of Erell upon Mr. Klein’s passing, and continued the path of growth within the promotional products industry. She became the first woman president of the Specialty Advertising Association of Chicago in 1977, and was elected just the 4th woman to serve on the national board (PPAI), class of 1983. Today, as we have since our beginning, Erell stands ready to partner with Distributors and help them assist their clients.
